Oleic acid, an acid which might not be familiar looking, but we use it in our daily lives every day. Examples of Oleic acid, are tea, coffee, opium, tobacco, rubber, and dyes. Oleic acid – a molecule found in abundance in the oil pressed from the small green fruit on the olive tree. Olive oil, which was, and still used around the world for many purposes. Olive oil was a great trade for a long period of time. There are many stories behind olives, and olives trees…. Could they be real?? Well who knows…. Olives stand for many thing in different nations; for some people it stands for money, for some it stands for some other aspect of that sort. To get olive oil, oil is extracted from olives. One might things olives are only used for cooking purposes, but that’s wrong, olives are used for cooking, along with other reasons, medical reasons and cosmetics. Olives and olive oil tend to be fat; they contain fatty acid. Well as the demand for olives/ olive oil increased, so did the production. When people saw, that a long of money was being made from olives and olive oil, more people stared to produce them and that later lead to the decreasing in the price. One might not think, but really, soap can be made by using olive oil, interesting ehh? Soaps made out of olive oil used to be used, in the old days. Interesting, yet uncanny.
