Malaria even the word sounds bad. Malaria stands for, bad air. Thousands of people die every year because of malaria. Along with deaths, many get infected every year, and many isn’t a small number, we are talking hundreds of millions of people. Malaria spreads much faster than other sicknesses, such as AIDS, and other STD’s of that sort. Malaria is transmitted from person to person, because of these bugs/flies called mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are blood hunters, well the female mosquitoes are blood hunters, and that’s what makes them dangerous. Malaria is very common in countries such as, India, Africa, and even china. Their isn’t really any cure for malaria, but there are treatments which can be taken by a person, and later as time passes he/she would get rid of malaria. As a person lives with Malaria, he/she later starts to have bigger problems, much bigger problems. Malaria can lead to fever, cancer, and many other diseases. Later as time passes, remedies for malaria were formed , for example the quinine antidote. Even though these remedies were made, it didn’t take out malaria, like bam done….it took time, and sometime it didn’t work….so it’s a bit, icky process. When people found out about these plants, the price for the seeds to the plants boosted up, like crazy. Every continent wanted them, the demand was high, but the supply was poor. Later in like the 1880’s, more information on why people get malaria was made. Even though, remedies were made, malaria still messed people lives, and for that reason we dislike it.
